5.4-magnitude quake strikes Japan’s Wakayama prefecture

TOKYO (Nov 2): An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 struck has struck the Wakayama Prefecture in southwest Japan on the Kii Peninsula, according to Japan’s weather agency, reported Xinhua.

Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) on Friday said the temblor’s epicentre was located at a latitude of 33.7 degrees north and longitude of 135 degrees east with a depth of 50km.
