Sentul is an area in the main town of Kuala Lumpur, divided into East Sentul and West Sentul. This is a highly matured and developed area as it was developed in 1896 during the British ruling. Sentul is highly central to the city at only 9 kilometres away, with Mont Kiara at 8 kilometres away, Bangsar at 11 kilometres and Petaling Jaya the furthest at 23 kilometres away. The Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is approximately an hour away by car.

Being a relatively aged area, options for homes in Sentul vary widely in age, design and price. There are single and double storey terrace houses, townhouses, condominiums, serviced apartments and bungalows as well. The lowest cost homes in this area are the single storey terrace houses which only cost approximately RM120,000, while the double storey homes vary widely in prices depending on the age and condition of the house. Prices start from as low as RM150,000 for the oldest developments. Bungalows and condominiums are on a whole different level on the other hand, with the former costing at least RM1,100,000 and the latter costing at least RM920,000 for the new and trendy ones.

Sentul is a well developed area with their own banking outlets, clinics, markets, restaurants and eateries. There are a myriad of kindergartens, local primary schools and local secondary schools as well. The institute of higher educations that reside here are International Islamic College and Kolej Unikop. As the area is dedicated mainly to residential units, residents will need to travel to neighbouring areas to get their supplies. The closest place to go to would be the city centre where residents will have Suria KLCC, Berjaya Times Square, Sungai Wang and a whole platoon of choices to pick from. Otherwise if they seek more peaceful surroundings, they can head over to Mont Kiara where there is the Solaris Mont Kiara, Plaza Mont Kiara and Solaris Dutamas.

Access to Sentul is fairly convenient as many main expressways are built around the area. The highways that serve the area are the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE), the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), Jalan Kuching and Jalan Ipoh. The public transportation that serves the area are the Sentul KTM train and the Sentul LRT.
